Data Mining Methods for Text Analysis
Kozák, Ondřej ; Marcoň, Petr (referee) ; Dohnal, Přemysl (advisor)
This bachelor thesis explores the current methodology and possibilities of text mining and the subsequent application of some methods. The thesis described methods for preprocessing, methods for converting text to vector space and methods for text analysis and discusses their possible applications. The different preprocessing methods were applied to the text and then the conversion to vector space was demonstrated using simple methods such as BOW, Bag of n-grams, TF-IDF or with machine learning methods which are FastText and GloVe. LSA, LDA, TextRank and cosine similarity methods were applied to the extracted vectors to extract information from the text.
Word Sense Clustering
Bárta, Jakub ; Otrusina, Lubomír (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the design and implementation of a modular system focused on semantic similarity. System is able to stem the corpus and to analyze corpus in different ways - through coocurrence matrix or LSA.
Evaluation of Ultralight Aircraft Production in the Czech Republic
Zvolánek, Jiří ; Ptáček, Pavel (referee) ; Šplíchal, Miroslav (advisor)
The final bachelor’s thesis analyses the status of Czech producers of ultralight aircrafts to foreign markets and evaluates their production. It describes the history and emergence of ultralight aviation in the Czech Republic and the emergence of the Light Aircraft Association, which administers ultralight aircrafts. The work contains the definition of light aircrafts, both for the Czech Republic and the U.S. and Europe, also includes a catalogue of ultralight aircrafts from Czech producers. There are examples of the development of the largest Czech producers of ultralight aircrafts and also they are compared to their foreign competitors on the U.S. market of Light-sport Aircraft category LSA.
Methods of Document Summarization on the Web
Belica, Michal ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
The work deals with automatic summarization of documents in HTML format. As a language of web documents, Czech language has been chosen. The project is focused on algorithms of text summarization. The work also includes document preprocessing for summarization and conversion of text into representation suitable for summarization algorithms. General text mining is also briefly discussed but the project is mainly focused on the automatic document summarization. Two simple summarization algorithms are introduced. Then, the main attention is paid to an advanced algorithm that uses latent semantic analysis. Result of the work is a design and implementation of summarization module for Python language. Final part of the work contains evaluation of summaries generated by implemented summarization methods and their subjective comparison of the author.
Dynamic Metric in OSPF Networks
Semantic Relatedness of Scientific Articles
Dresto, Erik ; Schmidt, Marek (referee) ; Otrusina, Lubomír (advisor)
The main goal of the thesis is to explore basic methods which can be used to find semantically related scientific articles. All the methods are explained in detail, compared and in the end evaluated by the standard metrics. Based on the evaluation, a new method for computing semantic similarity of scientific articles is proposed. The proposed method is based on the current state-of-the-art methods and adds the another important factor for computing similarity - citations. Using citations is important, since they represent a static bond between the articles. Finally, the proposed method is evaluated on the real data and compared with other described methods.
Design of Diesel Aircraft Engine One-cylinder Engine with Contra Rotating Pistons
Svoboda, Tomáš ; Drápal, Lubomír (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with design of crankshaft for two stroke opposed piston diesel engine. In the theoretical research part a history, comparison with competitive engines in nowadays light aircrafts and the advantages of opposed piston engines are mentioned. In the practical part the balancing is chosen and CAD model of crankshaft is designed. Geometry of this model is than checked for fatigue damage fallout. In the final part was chosen the propeller and appropriate reduction gearbox.
Semantic Similarity of Articles
Veselovský, Martin ; Otrusina, Lubomír (referee) ; Kouřil, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with modelling of structure of semantic relationships among articles in English language. There are introduced existing methods of articles representation and computation of similarity. The base method is vector space model, which represents document as vector of words. There are given weights of importance to these words using TF-IDF method. Next, there are described advanced methods of modelling, Latent semantic analysis (LSA) and Latent Dirichlet allocation (LDA). This thesis also deals with articles, which are semantically annotated, while weights of annotation words are computed by Stochastic Gradient Descent method. Evaluation of results takes place on the prepared test corpus of documents to which there is reference similarity evaluation.
The all-metal aeroplane UL and LSA category with instalation of modern avionics, control and test systems
Kadlčík, Jiří ; Třetina, Karel (referee) ; Píštěk, Antonín (advisor)
This thesis is focused on a project of all metal aircraft by UL-2 and LSA rules. The background research of aircrafts in existing category has been made in the market. The concept, with whom this thesis deals with, has been projected thanks to this analysis. The second part of the thesis is focused on avionics equipments of aircrafts. Market analysis has been made and the way of medernizing small sports airfts' equipment in categories UL and LSA has been projected.
Spark-ignition engine design for hybrid passenger car
Smejkal, Jan ; Dlugoš, Jozef (referee) ; Drápal, Lubomír (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with design of four-cylinder spark ignition naturally aspirated engine with indirect fuel injection for hybrid passenger cars. The thesis begins with research of engines that meet the requirements of the thesis assignment. The research is followed by design of the engine, where the main components are described in detail. The last part deals with FEA analysis of the connecting rod which is followed by analytical computation of high cycle fatigue by the LSA method.
